Biography
高校時代から8mmフィルムによる映画製作を始める。大学では美術を専攻し、大学卒業後、小学校教諭となり映画製作を続ける。映画を見つめ直すため、映画製作を中断し、映画評論の執筆に専念。映画批評を掲載したウェブサイトが好評を博し、多くの雑誌やラジオ番組で取り上げられる。
その後、地方でも都心に負けない映画を作ることを目標に映画製作を再開し、映画祭の企画・運営に携わる。2009年「三河映画」を立ち上げ、完全自主制作体制で映画「幸福な結末」を製作・監督する。「幸福な結末」は国内外103の映画祭で入選・受賞を果たす。2014年「渇愛（Ben-Joe）」の製作・監督に専念するため教諭を退職する。教諭の経験を活かし、映画制作と教育の融合を試み、人間力の育成と人との繋がりに重きを置いた映画制作を目指している。
2017年 株式会社ロッキングパイン・フィルムズを設立。代表取締役に就任する。2018年にはシネマチフォトのサービスを開業し、映像制作、写真撮影に従事する。2023年11月「渇愛（Ben-Joe）」がカンヌ国際映画祭・ヴェネツィア国際映画祭と並ぶFIAPF（国際映画製作者連盟）認定の「タリン・ブラックナイト映画祭 2023」でコンペティションの部門のオフィシャル・セレクトとなりワールドプレミア上映される。短編映画「愛の挨拶」は、「バンクーバー・アジアン映画祭2024」の正式招待作品に選出され2024年11月に上映される。

He started making films on 8 mm film when he was in high school. He studied art at university and, after graduating, became a primary school teacher and continued making films. He stopped making films to rethink cinema and devoted himself to writing film reviews. His website with his film reviews was well received and featured in many magazines and radio programmes.
He then resumed film production with the aim of making films in rural areas that are as good as those in city centres, and became involved in the planning and organisation of film festivals. In 2009, he launched “Mikawa Eiga” and produced and directed the film 'Happy Ending' under a completely independent production system. Happy Endings” was selected and won awards at 103 film festivals in Japan and abroad. And retired from teaching in 2014 to concentrate on producing and directing 'Katsuai(Ben-Joe)'. Drawing on his experience as a teacher, he tries to combine filmmaking and education, with an emphasis on developing human skills and connecting with people 2017 Founded Rocking Pine Films Inc. Becomes representative director; 2018 Opens Cinemachi Photo services and engages in film production and photography; In November 2023, "Katsuai(Ben-Joe)" was an official selection in the Competition section and had its world premiere at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival 2023, accredited by the FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers Associations) along with the Cannes and Venice International Film Festivals.The short film “Greetings of Love” was selected as an official selection for the Vancouver Asian Film Festival 2024 and will be screened in November 2024.
