映画「Ben-Joe」は、タリン・ブラックナイト映画祭でコンペティション部門のオフィシャルセレクトになり、ワールドプレミア上映がされました。
The film Ben-Joe was an Official Selection in Competition at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and had its world premiere.

About Tallinn Black Night Film Festival
タリン・ブラックナイツ映画祭は、カンヌ国際映画祭・ベルリン国際映画祭・ヴェネツィア国際映画祭、他の15のコンペティブ映画祭と並ぶFIAPF（国際映画製作者連盟）認定のAカテゴリーの国際映画祭です。
国際コンペティション長編映画部門を開催する北欧とバルト三国で唯一の映画祭となっています。コンペティション部門で上映される作品は、ワールドプレミア（世界初上映）およびインターナショナルプレミア（制作国以外で世界初上映）のみです。「Ben-Joe」は、コンペティション部門でのワールドプレミア上映となります。
80カ国から250本以上の長編および300本以上の短編映画とアニメーションが上映され、11月には 1,500 名以上の外国人ゲストがエストニアに集まり、80,000人以上の観客を動員するタリン・ブラックナイト映画祭は、北欧最大級の映画祭です。
エストニア経済に年間 600 万ユーロ（約9億5000万円）以上を還元すると推定されています。
The Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival is a FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers Associations) accredited A-category International Film Festival, along with the Cannes, Berlin and Venice International Film Festivals and 15 other competitive film festivals.
It is the only festival in the Nordic and Baltic countries to offer an International Competition feature film section. Only World Premieres and International Premieres are screened in Competition. “Ben-Joe” will be the Competition World Premiere.
With more than 250 feature films and 300 short films and animations from 80 countries, more than 1,500 international guests, and an audience of more than 80,000 people in Estonia in November, the Tallinn Black Night Film Festival is the largest film festival in Northern Europe.
It is estimated to return more than 6 million euros annually to the Estonian economy.

エストニアに到着して、まず日本大使館へ表敬訪問に行って参りました。大使にはエストニアについて丁寧に教えて頂きました。
Upon arrival in Estonia, we first went to the Japanese Embassy for a courtesy visit. The Ambassador gave us a detailed explanation about Estonia.

Press Coverage
映画祭期間中には、オーストリアの「Cineuropa」、「Asian Movie Pulse」、そして地元エストニアで一番古い新聞「Ajaleht Pealinn」などなどの取材を受けました。
During the festival, the film was covered by Cineuropa and Asian Movie Pulse in Austria, as well as the oldest local Estonian newspaper, Ajaleht Pealinn.

Black Carpet
恒例のブラックカーペット・ウォーク（ブラックナイト映画祭なので、レッドカーペットならぬブラックカーペット）を経て、記念撮影があって、上映会場のホールへ。
After the customary black carpet walk (it's a black night film festival, so it's a black carpet, not a red carpet), there is a commemorative photo and then the audience goes to the screening hall.

「Ben-Joe」ワールドプレミア上映は、2023年11月16日にApollo Kino Coca-Cola PlazaのChill-saalで行われ、240席がほぼ満席。ショッキングな内容と描写のためか、観客のみなさんのそこはかとない緊張感が伝わってきた2時間15分。上映後、Q＆Aでは、観客からの多くの質疑があり、時間ギリギリまで盛り上がりました。
The world premiere of Ben-Joe took place on 16 November 2023 in the Chill-saal of the Apollo Kino Coca-Cola Plaza, with 240 seats almost fully occupied. Perhaps because of the shocking content and depiction of the film, the audience could feel a certain tension in the air during the two hours and 15 minutes. After the screening, a Q&A session was held, during which there were many questions from the audience, which kept the audience engaged until the very last minute.

「Ben-Joe」の2回目の上映は、タリン市外のタルトゥで開催。タルトゥは、エストニア第2の都市で、タリンから南へ約180km、エストニア内陸部にある街です。タリンが政治・経済の中心なら、タルトゥは文化・芸術の中心。エストニアでもっとも古いタルトゥ大学もあります。タリンからはバスで約2時間半かけて、三河映画チームも上映館の Athena Center Hall へ。上映前に監督と出演者が舞台挨拶をしてきました。クラッシックな装飾や2階席もある素敵な劇場でした。
The second screening of Ben-Joe was held in Tartu, outside the city of Tallinn. Tartu is Estonia's second largest city, 180 km south of Tallinn in the Estonian interior. If Tallinn is the political and economic centre, Tartu is the cultural and artistic centre. It is also home to Tartu University, the oldest university in Estonia. From Tallinn, the Mikawa Film Team took a 2.5-hour bus ride to Athena Center Hall, where the film was also screened. Before the screening, the director and actors greeted the audience on stage. It was a nice theatre with classical decorations and second-floor seating.
Closing Ceremony
ホテルから映画祭関係者用のバスに乗って、クロージング・セレモニーが開催されるアレクセラ・コンサートホールへ。表彰式は、着飾った映画祭ゲストや関係者が何百人も客席を埋めて、司会者のトークやバンド演奏、エストニア大統領のあいさつもある中で様々な賞が発表されていく。これぞ国際映画祭な光景！
From the hotel, a bus for festival officials takes you to the Alexela Kontserdimaja, where the closing ceremony is held. Hundreds of well-dressed festival guests and officials fill the auditorium for the awards ceremony, where various awards are presented amidst a talk by the presenter, band performances and an address by the Estonian President. This is the scene of an international film festival!
