"Love’ s Greeting" Production Notes
これまでの三河映画の映画制作同様、完全自主制作のスタイルでつくられ、地元の多大な協力を得て完成した「愛の挨拶」。その制作の舞台裏を紹介します。
As with previous Mikawa Eiga productions, "Love's Greeting" was made in a completely self-produced style, and was completed with the generous cooperation of the local community. Here is a behind-the-scenes look at its production.

2023年10月。愛知県刈谷市で開催される「Suhara Music Fes」での上映依頼を受け、「愛の挨拶」の制作が始まった。三河映画第二弾「Ben-Joe」が開催される「タリン・ブラックナイト映画祭」でのワールドプレミア上映に参加するため、11月10日〜21日、三河映画チームはエストニアに滞在。帰国の翌週、第1回の脚本会議を開いた。翌年2024年1月中旬に決定稿（第3稿）が完成するまで、脚本の清水と岩松監督を中心にして、オンラインでの脚本会議が重ねられた。
October 2023. Production of "Greetings of Love" began with a request to screen the film at the "Suhara Music Fes" in Kariya, Aichi Prefecture. The Mikawa Film Team stayed in Estonia from November 10 to 21 to participate in the world premiere of "Ben-Joe" at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, where the second Mikawa film "Ben-Joe" will be held. The week after their return, the first script meeting was held. A series of online screenplay meetings were held with screenwriter Shimizu and director Iwamatsu leading the team until the final draft (third draft) was completed in mid-January of the following year, 2024.
主演でもある高橋ゆながプロデューサーを務め、彼女を中心に技術スタッフが集められた。岩松監督、脚本の清水、照明の古川、助監督の荒川、制作の杉浦、制作進行の彬田などを中心に三河映画チームが参加。それに加えて、プロデューサーの高橋が出演をした岐阜特撮映画「アユラ」の柴田監督がカメラマンとして参加を表明。続いて、同映画のメイク＆ヘアメイクの寺田、岐阜で映画制作をしている高井などの参加も決まり、三河映画×岐阜のチームがガッツリ手を組んだ形で、撮影を迎えることになった。
Yuna Takahashi, who also stars in this film, served as producer, and the technical staff was assembled around her. The Mikawa Eiga Team included director Iwamatsu, screenwriter Shimizu, lighting director Furukawa, assistant director Arakawa, production supervisor Sugiura, production assistant Sugita, and others. In addition, director Shibata of the Gifu special effects film "Ayura," in which producer Takahashi appeared, announced his participation as cameraman. The film's makeup artist, Terada, and Takai, who works in film production in Gifu, were also selected to participate in the filming.

出演者が東京、監督が愛知県三河と離れているため、初回のリハーサルは、オンラインで行われた。その後、監督が東京へ趣き、丸1日間かけてリハーサルを行い、撮影期間中にも、三河で2日間のリハーサルを行った。「リハーサルは力を抜いてやろう」という監督の声かけにも関わらず、毎回、主演の高橋は全力で演技をしたため、本番を迎える前に燃え尽きないかと岩松監督は心配になったらしい。
また、主演の田中（東京在住）の三河での宿泊は、食事処 葵さんの手厚い協力によって支えられた。
Because of the remoteness of the actors from Tokyo and the director from Mikawa, Aichi Prefecture, the first rehearsal was conducted online. The director then went to Tokyo and spent one full day rehearsing, followed by two days of rehearsals in Mikawa during the shooting period. Despite the director's urging to "relax in rehearsals," Takahashi, the lead actor, gave his all in each rehearsal, so much so that he apparently worried that he would burn out before the actual performance.
Also, lead actor Tanaka's (who lives in Tokyo) stay in Mikawa was supported by the generous cooperation of Aoi Restaurant.

撮影地は、これまでの三河映画同様、すべて愛知県三河地方で行われた。制作の杉浦が存分に腕を振るい、次々に撮影場所が決まった。主人公の自宅の撮影地探しは難航するかと思いきや、撮影協力をしてもらっていた（株）フジケンさんの女性職員が、その場で自宅の撮影を自ら提案によって、あっさり決定。あまりのノリの良さに驚かされた。
The film was shot in the Mikawa region of Aichi Prefecture, as in previous Mikawa Eiga. Sugiura, the production manager, was very skillful, and one after another filming locations were decided upon. We thought it would be difficult to find a place to film the main character's home, but a female employee of Fujiken, who was cooperating in the filming, suggested filming at her own home on the spot. We were surprised at how open-minded she was.

撮影前に1日間かけて、ロケ地でのテスト撮影を行う予定であったが、カメラマンがインフルエンザで倒れるというまさかの事態が発生。カメラテストは中止となり、クランクイン前日には、音声マンの親戚がコロナに感染し、音声マンがクランクインから不参加という波乱な撮影幕開けとなった。そうした感染症対策として、撮影現場では、医療用のマスクを着用して撮影に臨んだ。
幸田町役場での撮影では、役場が開く前に撮影をしなければならず、日の出前の5時に集合して、撮影の準備が進められた。幸田町で撮影された警察署の会議室のシーンは、長時間に渡るものだったが、カットごとに同じ光の状態を保つため、撮影スタッフは移り変わる光に苦しめられた。幸田町での撮影は、地元での映画制作の経験が豊富なこともあり、至れりつくせりの対応に感心させられることしきり。
刈谷市の台湾料理 高雄さんでは、エキストラの募集までして頂いた。同じく刈谷市のショッピーやまねさんでは、営業時間にもかかわらず、自由に撮影をさせて頂き、撮影後、空に虹がかかっていたのが忘れられない。岡崎市のミセスワイさんでも、調理道具の使用、厨房内での撮影など、無理なお願いにも快く対応をして頂いた。
腹が減っては戦はできぬ。映画制作においてもケイタリングは重要だが、今回は、岡崎市のインド・ネパールカレー ラムさんがケイタリングとして、テイクアウトのカレーを提供して頂いた。本当に美味しく、三河映画史上 過去最高のケイタリングとなった。
脱稿からクランクアップまで実に1か月という、スピード制作となった本作品だが、それが可能になったのは、撮影地を始め、撮影に協力してくださった地元の温かい支援のおかげだ。
The film was to be shot on location for a day of test shooting before shooting, but the cameraman unexpectedly came down with the flu. The camera test was cancelled, and on the day before crank-in, a relative of the sound man contracted corona and was unable to participate from the crank-in. To prevent such infections, the crew wore medical masks on set.
For the filming at the Koda Town Hall, they had to shoot before the hall opened, so they gathered at 5:00 a.m., just before sunrise, to prepare for the shoot. The scene in the conference room of the police station, shot in the town of Koda, took a long time, but the film crew suffered from the shifting light as they tried to keep the light conditions the same from cut to cut.The team was impressed by the thoroughness of the filming in Koda Town, which has a wealth of experience in local film production.
Taiwanese restaurant "Takao" in Kariya City even called for extras, and "Shoppy Yamane" in Kariya City allowed us to film freely even during business hours, and I will never forget the rainbow in the sky after the shooting. At "Mrs. Y" in Okazaki City, we were also given the use of cooking utensils and photographed in the kitchen, and they were willing to accommodate our unreasonable requests.
Catering is also important in film production, and this time, "Indian/Nepal Curry Ram" in Okazaki City provided us with take-out curry as catering services. The food was truly delicious, and the best catering ever in the history of Mikawa Eiga.
The film was produced quickly, with only one month from drafting to crank-up, but this was made possible thanks to the warm support of the local communities that cooperated in the filming, including the filming location.
